Important Use Information
It is recommended to use felt tabs and coasters to protect the stone surface. All stone tops, especially those around water, should be sealed or polished before use and on a regular basis to keep the porous stone from absorbing any stains from water, soap, wine, colas, etc. Wipe up spills immediately, since any liquids allowed to seep in may not be able to be removed and may etch the surface, causing discoloration. Most home improvement stores have a wide range of products for these applications due to the sale of stone countertops.

Our high-fashion custom upholstery by Sam Moore Furniture is manufactured in Bedford, Va. Much of our upscale leather upholstery line is manufactured in Hickory, N.C. by Bradington-Young. Hooker also imports an extensive line of wood bedroom, living room accents, dining room, home office and home entertainment furniture and some leather furniture from factories around the world. These include factories in Asia, Mexico and Central America. The design and engineering of these imported furnishings is all carefully overseen by Hooker or Bradington-Young in compliance with our high quality standards.
Hooker is known as an active, contributing corporate citizen in the Virginia and North Carolina communities in which we work and live. Our company is a leading contributor to charitable organizations such as the United Way, education and the arts, and our employees provide service to these organizations through volunteerism and board memberships.
